Portugal

Like in Canada, Dom Bellot has given some lectures about religious architecture in Portugal as well (1933). We presume the project at Porto is given to Bellot because of these lectures. From 1937 until 1939 Dom Bellot travels from Canada to Portugal and back, to work in both countries at different projects. In the meantime he also travels to Wisques, to his atelier. Trapped by the second world war he is forced to stay in Canada in september 1939. He would never see Europe again...
