Aletta GP
| June 1st, a while ago since the last update, I spend more time on the bike then updating the web. |
Ordered a set of Hagon stereo shock absorbers same size as the 250cc Ala
Verdes
in the picture you see them compared with the KONI's mounted on my SS350 |
as you can see the size is OK for this size of bike |
well low budged project so needed to do as much as possible by myself here I'm sewing the seat cover |
the end result |
an expansion exhaust is mandatory on a race bike isn't it. as is the silencer couldn't find anything smaller |
raw product |
end result |
next step foot rest and brake |
and the other side shifter arm |
Brake cable support wasn't available
so one was made
here's a better view on it's shape |
from the other side and with a coat of wrinkle paint on it |
don't have one of those nice smooth top yokes so I screwed up a later model (72 and up) |
and from an other angle |
Stay tuned for more
and see how we build this early type 125cc Aletta Oro
