In 2009, along with their new wireless Bushido ergotrainer, the new software trainer standard was introduced: the Tacx Trainer Software 2, which combines Phil's well known Real Live Videos and the former Fortius Virtual Reality.

Find world wide competitions for free at the Virtual Reality Cycling, the LEVE and/or at the Rulletour. Try the LEVE and Rulletour freeware videos.

Or join the Virtual Cycling Federation or the Indoor Bike League for a small fee.

Download routes from the competition sites above, from BikeNet or from the Route Archive.

Convert new TTS routes from gps data and ride the route in Google Earth 3D. Or create a route from a map. You can smooth the routes using a route builder or just use the GPS-editor included in the TTS2 to create any ride you like and ride it in Google Earth.

Request or Download a TACXkin

The TACXkins are an addition to the standard skins provided for the Tacx Fortius i-Magic Virtual Reality Worlds. The TACXkins are offered to users of the Fortius software, and can be downloaded using the links above. There will be up-to-date rider skins provided based on professional teams and for special competitions costumised graphics will be offered. All rider skins (both the personal selection in the ID card and male or female opponents) can be replaced in the virtual reality section of the Tacx Trainer Software 2 and its predecessor Fortius software. The TACXkins will be provided as .dds files. Although manual replacement is possible, special upload tools are implemented in the downloads from the Tacx website. The VRC offers a special Outfit Manager tool to manage your skins in the Fortius software.

Please make a back-up before replacing the original skins. This site is not responsible for problems caused by changing the original software package.

Fortius: The folder for the TACXkin.dds-files can usually be found on this location of your PC: C:\Program Files\TacxFortius\Imagic\data\Actors. The subfolders Race\Male and MTB\Male provide the skins for male riders and opponents, the subfolders Race\Female and MTB\Female are for female race and MTB animations.

To change a personal skin manually, you should check your ID card in the Fortius software. Search for the selected team outfit in the Actors subfiles and replace it by a Tacxkin. To replace opponent outfits manually, the provided TACXkin.dds should be renamed to the MTB_(fe)male_opponent1 till 5.dds and/or the RACE_(fe)male_opponent1 till 5.dds and the original flies should be replaced by these TACXkins. The next time you ride an opponent it will have the selected skin.
