I changed out all the brake lines for steel ones, reversed the bias valve and filled and bled the system with my easy bleeder kit. All went well except only fluid reached the rear brakes when the knob on the bias valve is turned all the way left, releasing the spring inside. Also after bleeding the rear brakes only work when the knob is turned anti clockwise, this should not be the case as more pressure should go to the rear with the knob turned clock wise. I will check this when the car is running and the booster is working. Maybe the bias valve is defective.

Then on to the bodywork. Made the recess for the shields in the front fenders and started on the vents in the rear fenders. Were metal work skills end, bodyfiller comes in. Next weeks only filling and sanding to do, boring hard work without real progress showing when photographed.

Change of mind (again)... Will also make the extra air inlets behind the side windows that a GTO has. Perfect for letting in air to the airfilters, 1 on each side. Then the lower inlets are solely for the intercoolers.

Quite complicated in that corner.

Some black paint to visualize what I build. Window will be lexan. Need to find suitable airfilters, a narrow but long panelfilter looks like the best option instead of a universal cone filter.

Made a frame for new Lexan side windows, I intent to rivet and glue them into place with a blackened Lexan frame as finish. Moved the fuelfiller, made a longer fillerneck, looks all good and eventually it will seem like it has always been that way. I hope. Lots of old 308īs caught fire (during refilling) because of fuel spill on the hot exhaust, mine would burn pretty good with al the bodyfiller on it.

The original round rubber seal fits in this hole, holding the fillerpipe.

Need to rob some japanese car on the wrecking yard of itīs hardware for the remote fuelfiller door. Need a hinge and a cable operated lock, the lever for the cable will be in the door post, visible with door opened, itīs only 50 cm distance.
