Welcome to 
Cooking Dutch!

Cooking Dutch??  What does that mean?

Cooking Dutch was formed by a group of women who have moved from America to The Netherlands (Holland).  There are obviously lots of adjustments that an ex-patriate needs to make when moving to a new country.  This group of women found that learning how to cook, and learning what foods, herbs, and baking supplies are available in The Netherlands was one of the biggest adjustments.  This group shares recipes, cooking and baking hints, in addition to sharing our daily frustrations and happy discoveries while adjusting to our new life in a new country.

Our membership now includes men and women from both The Netherlands and America.

You do not need to be a member of Cooking Dutch to access
the pages of this website.  If you are a newcomer to the
Netherlands you might want to consider joining so you can get further support and make some friends in your new country!
