The pianos used in these recordings are a Yamaha GranTouch (correctly spelled, by the way) and a Yamaha AvantGrand.  Both pianos are hybrids which means they have the action (real hammers, real moving parts) from a grand piano, but there are no strings; the sound is sampled and comes from a nine foot grand.  The stereo output of the piano goes directly to a laptop computer using Audacity digital audio editor. 

I think it worth mentioning that these mp3 files were recorded live, no editing, no click track, no nuttin'.
