19-02-2006Due to lack of time Iwan has decided to leave Pulmonary Abscess ! We would like to thank him for 6 years of dedication and fun with the band and wish him all the best with Deifecation ! For the time being, Pulmonary Abscess will go on as a trio. We may open a vacancy for a 2nd guitarist in the future, so keep a sharp eye on this space ! (Edwin)

19-06-2005Good news ! At the 25th of June we are entering the studio to record some new songs esspecially for the second edition of the EHBO-cd ! We have made a choice already for the song that will represent Pulmonary Abscess, but it's also possible we will record a few more in advance of the upcoming full-length.. Stay tuned!(Edwin)

27-06-2004Fucking hot and fucking great at the Vestingbar in Enschede. The soccerteam of Holland managed to come through to the semi-finals in the EC, so it was time for a party ! We think that succeeded too ! We will probably see you all soon in Borculo at the annual Biker's meeting :) (Edwin)

23-07-2001 Site update! At last !:P After a period of a stunning 7 years this site is finally updated and ordered nicely. I love simplicity in websites, so together with Iwan I kept it as simple as possible. No php, asp or flash for me (although someone is going to make something for me... can't wait ellis ;x). I hope you like it and it's simple design, but i have definately redo our logo :) Thanx to Iwan for the concept :) (Edwin)

24-06-2001 Yeah ! :) We already did 6 performances with the new line-up and i must say, they were all a success :) Marijn and Edwin recently left Solarisis 'cause they needed the sparetime they got from it. We wish the guys from Solarisis good luck in the future, we had a great time playing with ya :) The weeks coming up (vacation period) will be used for writing some new material, going on vacation and maybe a gig here and then :) We also discussed the possibilty for recording a brand new cd, so maybe something heavy will come out this year/begin next year....for now, i wish everybody a great summer-holiday and see ya s00n in the clubs nearby ya :) Cheerz ! 08-02-2001 Aaaah, it's finally taking his form, we are ready to play live again with two guitarists! :) Iwan worked his butt off and de rest of the band played the good 'ol songs over and over again and it pays off! 6-11-2000 We have found a new singer ! It's not a new person, Marijn de Zeeuw tried and succeeded to take on the vocals for Abscess. His voice is raw, thrashy and dark, exactly what we needed :-) We also found a new guitar player in the person of Iwan Heskamp, former member of Escutcheon and currently also playing with Deifecation. He is already longer a personal friend of ours, and after a performance of Pulmonary Abscess as a trio in Atak, Enschede he was eager to try it out :-) Welcome dude! (Edwin)

22-10-2000 Pulmonary Abscess recently played on the Metal Battle Festival in Atak in Enschede as a trio :-) It was also a try out for our bassist/singer Marijn to perform his vocals live, and he did a great job :-) Never saw a crowd go so wild on our 1993 song 'Pulmonary Abscess' :-) We now are working on new material and are planning to record our second CD. 01-02-2000 Pulmonary Abscess frontman Paul Wormgoor has decided to quit P.A. after 6 years of loyal service.......The reason why he decide this to do doesn't matter, but we can say he and the band split as true friends. That's why we now search for a new lead singer, if you find yourself correct for the job, please apply to my email adress here.

We search for a singer with good personality, humourous and of course a great grunt to offer :-) If you live in the surroundings of Enschede/Haaksbergen/Neede, please reply if you're interested.....we offer you a motivated band which lives already for 10 years, great material and coming up live performances & CD recordings !!
