The paperclip

The paperclip is a object that is just for about 10 percent for the purpose where its made for. The other 90 percent is just fore other purposes. On this site you can read more about the paperclip.

In 1995 I started with collecting paperclips. When I stand for a copier, I thought how many different paperclips are there on the world. You will surprised how many different clips there are. In the different kinds of paperclips there also different printings and colors. In totally I have about 8000 clips.

Don’t think he is the only one that collect paperclips. In the Netherlands are about 600 collectors from this little things. I think I’m the only one who’s collecting all kind of paperclips. The other collectors collecting only Marcklips, Promoclips, Axionclips an Paperpins. On this site you can meet this kind of clips. There are also other clips. Clips made from wood, paper or plastic. This kind of clips you find also on this page.

I don’t show all my clips on this site. Therefore is this site to small. I attempt to let you sea a impression of my collection. I have made a selection for this site.

The showcase with teh different clips.

I show the most beautiful clips in a showcase. The other clips I have stored in ordners. These are numbered from 1 to 34. To vind the clips easily back, I stored them in a database in my computer. (A excellent tool for this job is “De Verzameldisk”).
