OUTLINE SCRIPTS Paint Shop Pro X (8, 9, XI and up), patched Author: Joske Backer PAGE 1 2

The Outline Scripts are a collection of scripts that all, in one way or another, put an outline on an existing vector or raster shape or font. The layers are left in place so changes can be made after a script has run. Each script works best on a sturdy object or big bold font. If a script fails, this is because the selections it is trying to make are out of range or overlapping; so make sure your objects are big and wide enough. Some of these Outline Scripts can be downloaded free for personal use. The whole collection can be bought in packages for commercial or personal use. As always, don't forget to read the terms within the script (File, Script, Edit).

#1 FrostyRusty Outlines - PSP 8 and up The Outline FrostyRusty script creates (you guessed it) a frosty or rusty outline on a vector or raster object on transparency. This script is part of a package.

#2 WaveyCarve Outlines - PSP 9 and X (and up if you still have 9 or X installed) The Outline WaveyCarve script makes use of a displacement map to create an outline resembling carving or dark paint strokes on a vector or raster object. This displacement map, called Blue Spruce, comes with PSP 9 and X. Because Corel changed the names of resources in XI and up, you can only use this script in newer versions if you also have 9 or X installed and point the later version to the displacement maps of 9 or X (File, Preferences, File Locations, Displacement Maps, point to maps in 9 or X). Click to download the zipfile containing the Outline WaveyCarve Script for personal use. Extract the script to your Scripts-Restricted folder. On page 2 you will find an option to download all ten outline scripts in one paid package.

#3 StrokeFat Outlines - PSP 9 and X The Outline StrokeFat script makes use of a displacement map to create an outline resembling fat, wet paint strokes behind crisp dark strokes along your vector or raster object. This displacement map, called Blue Spruce, comes with PSP 9 and X. The script will work in higher versions but the results are different. Click to download the zipfile containing the Outline WaveyCarve Script for personal use. Extract the script to your Scripts-Restricted folder. On page 2 you will find an option to download all ten outline scripts in one paid package.

#4 DoubleStroke Outlines - PSP 9 and X (and up if you still have 9 or X installed) The Outline DoubleStroke script makes use of a displacement map to create a double outline resembling loose painted lines along your vector or raster object. The displacement map Blue Spruce comes with PSP 9 and X. Because Corel changed the names of resources in XI and up, you can only use this script in newer versions if you also have 9 or X installed and point the later version to the displacement maps of 9 or X (File, Preferences, File Locations, Displacement Maps, point to maps in 9 or X).
