BEING A UB40 FAN

"Well my Mum sorta got me into them….When we used to go on trips round NZ. She used to only bring the Labour of Love 1 and 2 CD’s. So it was UB40 all the way around. And then for about 7 years I sorta forgot about them. Until they re-released the Labour of Love soundtracks and the Very Best Of UB40 into Aotearoa. I got back into them. NOW I'M A HARDOUT FAN! ! !"

"Well, from ages 10-14 my brother made me listen to hip hop and rap. Dr Dre, Snoop Dog, Warren G, Bone Thugs, Outlaws and of course 2pac! When I reached 15 I started getting into the ‘Old School’ flayvaz like-Dr Hook, Lionel Richie, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals, Earth Wind and Fire and Herbs.AND THEN my brother starting getting me into Rahzel (Beatboxer)/beatboxing and Scratching and freestyles and stuff… So that’s when I learnt how to do remixes and scratch… AND THEN I GOT INTO UB40…YAY!!! So it’s sorta been a roller coaster ride for my music taste."
