Isaiah 43 1-7
1
But now thus saith
the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear
not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by
thy name; thou art mine. 2 When
thou passest through the waters, I will be with
thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou
walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame
kindle upon thee. 3 For I am
the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave
Egypt
for thy ransom,
Ethiopia
and Seba for thee. 4 Since thou wast precious in my
sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I
give men for thee, and people for thy life.5 Fear not:
for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the
east, and gather thee from the west; 6 I will say to
the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far,
and my daughters from the ends of the earth; 7 Even
every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I
have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Thessalonians 4:13 -18
13
But
I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are
asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For
this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord
in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore
comfort one another with these words.

persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men,

Romans
8: 31-3
31 What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us,
who can be against us? 32 He
that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he
not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who
shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is
God that justifieth. 34 Who is
he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea
rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also
maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us
from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or
distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are
accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all
these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Corinthians 13 4-7
4
Charity suffereth
long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity
vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not
behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but
rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth
all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Ephesians 6 10-20
10
Finally, my
brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore
take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in
the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand
therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod
with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above
all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all
the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet
of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my
mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For
which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I
ought to speak.

Psalms 1
1
Blessed is
the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the
way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But
his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his
law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be
like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in
his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall
prosper. 4 The ungodly are
not so: but are like the chaff which the wind
driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand
in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the
ungodly shall perish.

Jeremiah 45: 4-5
4 Thus
shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, that
which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will
pluck up, even this whole land. 5 And seekest thou
great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold,
I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give
unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.

33 But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no

itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil
thereof.
