Santa Claus is waving to us....

Steam excursion from Rotterdam to Rheine. A very interesting experience.

Saturday december 02 2005 was the long awaited day. At 08.00 am exactly we left Rotterdam for a steamexcursion to Aken Germany. In Aken is a big Christmas market and we were joining that

The beautiful BR 01 1075 was ready to pull the cars including a restaurant to Venlo. This journey is organized together with the DGEG Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Eisenbahngeschichte,which had a train running from Bochum Germany to Maastricht. We changed trains at Venlo. From there our 01.10 would bring the DGEG passengers to Maastricht and we went to Aken.

It was cold and we dronk our Gluhwein in Aken to prevent us from the cold. Did our christmas shopping and went home.
