Why did I buy it?
I bought an Er1 kit because I’ve allways been interested in technology. I’ve been a fan of the original BBC Robotwars tv program but building a robot myself from scratch was beyond my abillity. They also tended to be too big, too heavy and too expensive!

On the internet I came across an article about the Er1, a small robot  that uses a laptop as its “brain”. A few minutes later I had located the website of Evolution Robotics. About an hour later I decided to order it.
It’s the first time I’ve bought something on the internet on an impulse but I sure like my Er1!
