This
page is dedicated to websites I like. All
sites are somehow related with our work;
inspiring magazines, tips that become
handy during construction, suppliers that
fulfill... and, guess what, other model
railroaders! New links will be added now
and then.
Serious
magazines
les
reportages de PETITRAIN. An overview of
RAIL2002 and The Sodumb & Gamorra is
in the Picture!
Probably
the best magazine on USA H0 and O narrow
gauge & short lines. We just call it
'the Gazette', nothing comes
even close.
Perhaps..
Finescale
Railroader. Their pictures are even
better! Kind of a playboy for model
railroaders. With enough bandwith you can
download the entire magazine!
Tips!
All you
ever wanted to know about Digital/DCC,
but were afraid to ask, it's on the site
of Allan Gartner. We used a lot
of his techniques on the S&G. Thanks
Allan!
Want a
real book about DCC, not just one more
for dummies? try Rutger Friberg's.
In need
for Signs on your
building? Try this one.
Want to
build something and have little time and
less space? Try a Micro layout!
Suppliers
My
favorite supplier for USA craftsman kits
is Valley Model
Trains. Have a closer look.
Use Tony's Train
Exchange for additional
information on DCC loco wiring and sharp
prices on USA DCC systems, components and
sound.
We use Soundtraxx DSX sound
decoders for our loco's.
For USA
trains is Standard Hobby
Supplies one of the cheapest and
most reliable sources we know of.
All the
Foliage on the Sodumb & Gamorra was
supplied by Anita Decor. They have no
website but can be reached at 0031 (0)
4753 15410. Ask for Eddy.
Informative!
Learn
more about shay locomotives at this most
informative website.
Confused
about the difference between shay's,
Heisslers, Climaxes and Dunkirks? Then
turn to the Geared steam
locomotive works.
A
beautifull photo archive on vintage logging on this website.
Fellow
modellers
Visit
out friends of the Modelspoorteam. We have to
share Hans and Walter with them.
Yes, it
is possible! Having fun with a small
railroad. Ronald Halma proved it can be
done, and it is a lot of fun watching his
trains on the Metusa Junction railroad.
