Shay nr. 3 working it's way towards the spartree. Both trestles are made of Basswood (lindehout) and Balsa. Photo Len de Vries

One of the nicest pictures yet taken is Shay nr. 3 on the trestle at the left side of the layout. On the right with the help of a Spartree logs are loaded on Kadee skeleton log cars. The shay is a heave weathered Bachmann. The donkey in the background is equipped with a smoke generator. photo Len de Vries

This is Rivarossi Heisler nr. 5 on the right trestle hauling logs to camp Jemima (on the right). The Heisler is completely re-engineered. With new installed motor and flywheel, redone trucks and gears and converted from coal to oilburner. The logs are made from Balsa filled with lead to put some weight on the skeleton cars. The river is almost dry (noth enough time to poor all the Woodland water) photo Len de Vries

This is our Camp Jemima at the right far side of the layout. From here logstrains are leaving over the CWR mainline to Fort Bragg. Logging cabins are AMB-laser kit and the cookhouse in the middel is a craftmans kit. At the left edge is the water tower from Evergeen Hill. photo Len de Vries

Camp Jemima revisited. This time seen from eye level. In the front some disconnects from Kadee. photo Len de Vries

Operating the S&G at Rail 2002. The layout is 'skirted' with board and batten and covered with corrugated material. We plan to provide the roof with a stack. In front Walter is holding one of the Lenz controllers we use to operate our trains, sound and turnouts. Photo 'petitrain'
