These recordings are made outdoors, in the field so to speak, with portable equipment.
Sometimes I am on the move, other times I just stand still, but I always try to be an observer who never interferes,
I just listen and record. Now you can listen to what I heard!
Headphone listening is recommended but not required.
Some of the recordings on this page are test-recordings. With better settings they could have been better, also I am still learning and progressing. This page contains only MP3's that are recorded by Sifu EV. Besides the MP3's mentioned below, I have some recordings of crowds, my car's engine (recorded from under the hood), fireworks, trains, animals in the zoo, traffic, church bells, inside noises of my car and my cat peeing. Sometimes I even make recordings on request.

On a Sunday morning, just before church opens, the bells start chiming. A natural crescendo is created. I was standing below the church, and what you hear on the recording are the bells, with lots of clapper sounds. Nowadays the church is no longer being used, and the bells are removed. Standing next to a go-kart racing circuit in Eefde (The Netherlands). It is an outdoor circuit. I was standing at the outside of a high speed corner, the karts were racing from the straight line at the right (ear - about 2 O'clock), diving into the corner and going to the next straight line at the left (ear - about 11 O'clock). Breaking was out of the question for these guys! (Instead they just 'lifted'...) Start and end are faded (just a little bit).
