It ain't much, but I hope you like the efforts I made so far.

Genese |
| Description: |
This instrumental is made in Logic, the sequencer I use since July 2004.
The lead guitar is an improvisation I made after hearing the VST plugin MicroTonic.
I am not gonna mention all VST plugins I used, but I'll tell you that Logic has been explored hugely to be able to make this song.
Produced in 2005.
Credits: lead guitar, keyboards and mix: Mister Mouse
Title: Genese is a Dutch word for Genesis, or Becoming. It is a reference to a period in my life that involved a lot of personal becoming.

Seven Years Of Sorrow |
| Description: |
An attempt to make a full rock song.
Also I had this new software called PowerTracks, and this song was completely mixed and mastered with that software,
it was therefor also some kind of software tryout.
The vocals by Malibu, the guitars by Ekse and the toilet flush were real audio tracks, all the rest are MIDI sounds.
Credits: Composed by Ekse, performed by Ekse and Malibu (on vocals).
Title: the lyrics were written about my problems the previous seven years. There's no need to go into details.

Terra Nova |
| Description: |
A small piece for piano.
It was born during some practice in finger techniques, it is therefor a simple tune.
The original piece is about 3 minutes long with the same theme repeated using weird synth sounds.
There is also a version with dubbed guitar parts, but what you find here is the original theme with just piano.
Credits: Composed and performed by Ekse.
Title: this piece was my first composition on the piano,
therefor for me it is some new terrain that I was and still am exploring, Terra Nova means New (found) Land.

Study in C Hungarian Minor |
| Description: |
A small piece for electric guitar.
It was inspired by a fragment of music I heard during a jamsession.
In those days I used to have a fellow guitarist that I jammed with a lot.
He played the blues and I just made a lot of noise; at that time I was still more influenced by the louder kinds of music.
One day there was a jamsession with almost no musicians, no audience, but three guitarists;
one of them was from the Balkan area and he played some lovely riffs.
My interpretation of that is what became my Study in C Hungarian Minor.
I have provided the tabs here: tabs.txt
Credits: Composed and performed by Ekse.
Title: this piece is a musical study in the key of C Hungarian Minor.

| Description: |
This song is the result of one afternoon of jamming in 1996.
In search for a complete line-up I was approached by Bram.
He was the director of this song and basically told me when I could play some bits.
Bram made all the synth and drum sounds, I took care of the guitar sounds.
The intro and outro of the piece are borrowed from a piece that I already had written
(and only performed once at the jamsession mentioned above at song #2)
the rest of the guitar parts were improvised on the spot.
You might hear some mistakes (I do), but keep in mind that this was a one-taker, recorded on a portable cassetterecorder,
no editing was done afterwards!
Credits: Composed and performed by Ekse and Bram.
Title: it comes from the track number of the software Bram used for performing.
