My name is Marien van Westen.
I am a lecturer of high frequency electronics and
telecommunication at the Hanze University of Groningen (the Netherlands).
I am also a radioamateur (callsign PA0MVW), interested in programming (mainly Delphi and Lazarus), nature photography and microscopy
I wrote some programs for educational purposes, but some are usefull for more serious applications.
I have also written some programs for the Linux platform, so if you are interested take a look there.
For those who are interested in DSP (Digital Signal Processing) I have a DSP simulator on my electronics pages.
On the microscopy page you can find a program to use a webcam with a microscope and to perform measurements on the photographs.
The programs here are free to use (some even come with source code under the GPL).
Some programs are in the Dutch language, but the way they operate is so simple that you will be able to use
them even when you can't read Dutch. If somebody wants to translate the instructions in English, please let me know
The Delphi programs run under Windows 9x and above.
