The Peak Meters now have an adjustable Release
Speed.
Using a slower release speed will give a certain 'inertia' to the
meter bars which gives a more pleasant VU meter like readout.
For MX6 each of the 8 meters can be set individualy.
These settings are stored globaly and shared between all MX6
instances.
Right-clicking on one of the meters will pop-up
the Release Speed menu.
Holding down the CTRL-key before Right-clicking will set all 8
meters
to the same speed.

ADC also has some new features:
- Release speed on the Peak meter.
Same as MX6 only settings are stored as plugin parameters
so you can store them in a preset.
- Analog Input 'Clip hold indicator'.
This feature is meant as an aid to setup the ideal analog input
level.
Right-clicking on one of the red LEDs pops up a menu
where you can set a threshold value.
If the analog input signal fed to the AD-converter exeeds
the threshold, the Clip Hold LED will light up and remain lit
untill you reset it by Left-clicking on the peak meter.

ADC plugin now has Peak Meters
for each Codec. AC97.1 and AC97.2(UDA) if available.
MX8 8x2 Channel mixer added.
Preset saving in MX8 does not work in 3534f version due to a bug
in kX, restore however does work.
This bug is fixed since 3538L driver release)

Noise Gates:
'Classic' Mono and Stereo Noise Gates with;
- Gate ON LED indicator.
Will light up if gate is open.
- Threshold ON level.
If input exeeds this level, gate opens.
- Threshold Delta value.
If input falls below Threshold - Delta, gate closes.
-Hold Time.
Minimum time that the gate remains open.
-Attack Time.
The rate at which the gate opens.
-Release Time.
The rate at which the gate closes.
The Stereo Noise Gate is channel linked.
That is; control settings are the same for Right and Left
channel.
Peak Envelope Detector 'circuit' will always follow the
highest peak value present in either channel.

Quick Launch DSP utlity
One of the reasons I wrote ProFx is that I dislike kxmixer.
I never use it. The DSP window is practicly all we need.
That's 'were it all happens', and that's were we have to go when
things 'go wrong' :-)
This little program will open the DSP window
with 1 single mouse click.
Put it anywhere on your harddisk, make a shortcut to it, place it
on
Windows QuickLaunch Taskbar or wherever you like.

Note: This utility should work with any driver version.
