Controller Compatibility

The list below is color-coded as follows:

1	Works with the PS2 Game Controller only.
2	Works with the PS2 Game Controller, and Logitech Rally wheel.
3	Works with the PS2 Game Controller, Logitech Rally, and Logitech Driving Force.
3*	Same as 3, but Driving Force only works when plugged into USB port 2.

The bullets have the following meaning:

	The sim has a webpage of its own on this site.
	The game/sim shares a webpage with other games/sims.
	The game/sim is a DNF (Did Not Finish) or DNS (Did Not Start).

In the list above, my favorites are the ones with a solid bullet (

). Those are the ones I've spent the most amount of time on and, hence, there will be more info on those than others. As the list above shows, my preference tends to lean towards simulations of real-life circuit racing. I like cars that were specifically built to race with and tracks that were specifically built to race on.

The games/sims with a half-shaded bullet (

) are ones that I've collected data on, but not necessarily played much. In general, if a game/sim's info includes a "Quirks And Features" and/or "Miscellaneous" section, it means I've spent a fair amount of time on it. Otherwise, if there's only a car/bike and/or track list, it means I haven't really played it much but just collected the lists for comparison purposes.

The games/sims with a hollow bullet (

) are ones that, for one reason or another, I never finished or never even started. I'm not a big fan of arcade games or illegal street racing games, so those will probably be left on the shelf for an indefinite period of time. Others, however, may just be new additions to my collection that I haven't gotten around to trying out yet.

PS1 Memory Cards

PS1 games don't recognize PS2 memory cards, and PS2 games don't recognize PS1 memory cards. You can use a PS2 memory card to store backups of PS1 gamesaves, but you'll need to copy them back to a PS1 memory card to play the game.
Action Replay MAX can't be used for PS1 gamesaves. AR MAX doesn't recognize PS1 memory cards, and it doesn't recognize PS1 gamesaves stored on a PS2 memory card either.
It appears that the new flat SCPH-70004 PS2 can't use any PS1 memory cards that were formatted on an SCPH-50004 PS2. You can find out which PS2 you have by pressing [Triangle] on the startup screen with no disc inserted. If you have an SCPH-50004 PS2, don't use it to format any new PS1 memory cards (they'll be unusable if you ever need to replace your PS2 with a newer one). Instead, format all new PS1 memory cards on either a PS1 or a PS2 other than the SCPH-50004. The SCPH-39004 is known to be okay, so anything that's older should be okay too.
It appears that Blaze 2MB PS1 memory cards (whether new or used) can't be used with the new flat SCPH-70004 PS2. Blaze 1MB PS1 memory cards, however, can be used as long as they weren't formatted on an SCPH-50004 PS2.

The "Race Driver" Series

For some strange reason, Codemasters uses different names for the same sims of this series. Depending on which part of the world you live in, the Race Driver series may be known as any one of the following (these are just the ones that I know of, and there may be others):
