notenzetter, als editor van fluitmuziekuitgaven en als
samensteller van de Repertoire
Catalogue for Piccolo, Alto Flute and Bass Flute. Deze
Catalogus, waarvoor ik 15 jaar geleden ben begonnen met het
verzamelen van gegevens, is verschenen bij de
Italiaanse uitgeverij Riverberi Sonori in Rome. Naast
meer dan 3800 composities voor ้้n of meer van bovengenoemde
instrumenten in diverse combinaties, bevat dit naslagwerk ook
een uitgebreide lijst met ca. 900 composities voor Flute
Choir of Flute Orchestra waar piccolo en/of altfluit
en basfluit in voorkomen.
Tevens is op deze website informatie te vinden over de Frans
Vester Stichting. Deze
stichting, waar ik medeoprichter van ben, heeft tot doel het
gedachtegoed van de fluitist en musicoloog Frans Vester (1922 -
1987) onder de aandacht te brengen van iedereen die zich op de
wetenschappelijke basis van de uitvoeringspraktijk van muziek
voor blazers wil ori๋nteren.
Alle activiteiten waar ik mij op dit moment mee bezighoud, zijn
gebaseerd op mijn jarenlange ervaring als orkestmusicus,
kamermuziekspeler en conservatoriumdocent.
On this site you will find information concerning my activities
as a music typesetter, editor of flutemusic publications and as
author of the Repertoire
Catalogue for Piccolo, Alto Flute and Bass Flute. This
catalogue, for which I started gathering data 15 years ago, is published by the Italian publishing house Riverberi Sonori
in Rome. Beside over 3800 compositions for one or more of the
instruments listed above in various combinations, this reference
work also contains an elaborate list with about 900 works for Flute
Choir or Flute Orchestra where piccolo and/or alto
flute and bass flute is part of.

Vester Foundation on this website. This foundation, of
which I am a co-founder, has the purpose of bringing the ideas
of the flutist and musicologist Frans Vester (1922-1987) to the
notice of anybody who wants to be informed about the scientific
base of the performance practice of music for wind players.
All activities I'm involved in at present, are based on my
extensive experience as an orchestral musician, chamber music
player and flute teacher.
