History: Productions world wide 1945-1980

The table below contains the number of VW Beetle productions worldwide till 1980 when the latest Beetle (a Cabriolet) rolled off the assembly line in at Karmann's factory in Germany. From 1945 till 1980 almost 20.000.000 Beetles were produced. Today the Beetle is still in production in South America where he's heading towards the magical 22nd million car.
