I
wrote this "getting started in Anim8tor"-tutorial mainly to
get started myself again in the future.
In the past I have been enjoying Anim8tor from time to time, but have
always returned to my 3D-package (trueSpace 3.2) or got entangled in
the mysterious depths of packages, like Blender, Art of Illusion, Terragen,
etc.
When there was a renewed interst in Anim8tor (sometimes with a new release)
it was quite frustrating to expierience that I lost touch and had had
not enough former expierience to easily pick up again.
After anim8oring for some three weeks now with version 0.9 I
decided to, at least, write down a few of my standard ways of getting
around in...
And also I recently enjoyed the Blender video-tutorials, and also I
had not really tried out anything serious in Wink
yet.
I think, this step-by-step tutorial has the visual qualities of a videotutorial
(that I have to stop from time to time) and the possibility to
choose stepping back. In making it I discovered a lot of nice features
that had eluded me before.
The resulting *.an8-file is here (abc.zip 4kB)
