Ah,......................Venice! Amongst "Old Mediterranean Cities, most often visited"...... ...Venice ranks highest, Barcelona probably comes second.

Beiruth and Damascus, are from a period in my tender years.

And Athens, I do admit has its charms, but for dwelling I prefer the Greek islands or countryside.
