============================================================================ This is the script for the spoken text in my glue spillage video tutorial on http://www.youtube.com/ninjatoespapercraft ============================================================================ [01] Welcome back. [02] Since I have nothing better to do, I will show you one of the many ways to avoid glue spillage on papercraft models. [03] Normally, you would apply the glue on top of the glueing tabs, like so. [04] But then when you try to put on the other part, you will push against the glue with the edge of the paper. [05] This way you will get glue spillage between the edges of the parts and the glueing tabs. [06] It is a little hard to see in the video because the glue is transparant, but in reality it looks very bad. [07] Horrible, even... [08] One way to avoid glue spillage, is to not apply the glue to the glueing tabs, but to the opposite edge that you are going to glue on. [09] Put a small "roll" of glue around the edge, like so. [10] Use a little bit more glue than usual for this, but still not too much. [11] Now, when you put on the part with the glueing tabs, you will still push away the glue, but this time you will push it inside the part, where it won't show. [12] You can easily see the difference between the two methods, although I exaggerated the amount of glue you should use for this video. [13] The easiest way to avoid glue spillage is still just not to use too much glue, and don't try to rush yourself, so this might be the second easiest way. ;o) [14] If you managed to stay awake, be sure to visit my website at www.kickme.to/ninjatoes to download lots of papercraft models. [15] Have fun building!
