Nolan K. Bushnell

Atari © was founded in 1972 by Nolan K. Bushnell.

Bushnell is also known as the father of the arcade game industry.
Although Atari is mainly known for their games, there is a lot of computer equipment
out there which carries the Atari logo as well.

I play Atari, collect Atari and probably breath Atari :D
When I was young (cough) you had 2 choices, either you played with Atari or with
Commodore game consoles. Since I do not know what Commodore means or stands for,
you can say I'm an Atari zealot.

Although me (and my brother) have most types of Atari equipment ever produced, we're still missing some equipment...
But since we're planning to live forever, we still have time enough to fill in the gaps.
If you're missing some equipment on our website and you're the happy owner of it, we surely like to receive a picture
from that piece of equipment. We will be happy to post the picture on our site and credit it to your name...

Our main interest is the Atari 8 bit family. Mainly because those machines are relatively simple to understand and fun to use. Even nowadays with games like Age Of Empires 3 and World Of Warcraft, I still like to play a game like Defender or Pacman on my 130XE. Really! I still prefer gameplay and fun above graphics.

I've split our Atari collection and interest into several sections. Please select the section of your interest from the navigation menu above. Bear in mind that the 8 bit section is larger than the other sections, because we ourselves care about Atari 8 bit computers the most. Enjoy! And remember. keep those machines humming!

Bo Schreurs - Atari enthusiast for life.
