Also felt disapointed the first time you
discovered that not all NPC´s have their own voice? Only in the
first part of the game the NPC´s actually speak to you, after your
release its only ´click, click and click´ in the dialog boxes....We
want to change this! We want to enhance Morrowinds Atmosphere by
giving NPC´s voices!
Ofcourse giving every NPC´s its own voice
is a huge undertaking. Thats why we are first concentrating this project
on ´mainquest related NPC´s only´. In a later stage we MAY
do voices for guilds and misc. quests etc etc.
By giving NPC´s voices we mean we make a
voice soundfile for each topic a NPC has in its dialogbox. So when
you click on a topic in a NPC´s dialogbox you now can not only read
what he/she has to say but you can also hear it!
For giving every NPC a voice we need alot
of voices, different voices. Thats where the audition part comes in.
We ask people to take auditions, so we can choose the best and use
