The Lycian Way, a walk along the Turkish Coast

The Lycian Way from Oludeniz to Gavuragili (Approx 90 km's, 5days)

Not one the most easy walks (less suitable for un-experienced walkers!) but most certainly a beautiful one.

Don't forget to bring plenty of water with you!

We walked this route end of May 2002. June is definitely too hot!

Detail

Ucagiz: another part of the Lycian Way to Simena.

The track is a bit difficult to find here.

Simena

Not part of the route it is worth the 15 min's extra walk. From the track you will see it on your right hand on top of the hill.

Simena by boat.

From Simena we took one of the tourist-boats back to Kas, well worth some negotation with a skipper.
