[Icon] MAD frontend

If you want to make a normal audio CD from your MP3s you can use any CDR program to decode the MP3 files on-the-fly. But there are two reasons why you shouldn't do that:

So it's best to first decode the MP3 files to wave files with a good quality decoder. And one of the best decoders is MAD. It features dithering, clipping report, attenuation and amplification. It's a console program, but you can get a free grafical Windows frontend here.

Download MAD frontend 1.4.1 (151 kb, freeware)

(the zip-file includes MADplay 0.15.2b)

If you get an error when you try to run the frontend, you need one of the following files (the error message indicates which one):

MAD frontend is based on the source code of vbLamer by Chetan Sarva (his website is gone).
