Here are some of my favorite web sites about Total Annihilation. You can find fan made units, maps, races (!), etc. I will keep adding links when I find new and high quality web sites.
Official web sites
Since Cavedog does not exist anymore, the web site has been offline for some time now. But if you want to give it a try, go right ahead. There is also a mirror of the official site available.
Strangely, Cavedog's FTP-server is still online. However, it has been anticipated that this site will soon follow, so here is a mirror: phoenixworx.org/cavedog/.
Fan sites
- Rakrent.com
- Big resource regarding real time strategy games, and thus Total Annihilation.
- TAUniverse
- Hosts a lot of fan sites for Total Annihilation. Also has a respectable news-section regarding Total Annihilation & Total Annihilation: Kingdoms.

- Planet Annihilation
- This is the biggest site about Total Annihilation. It hosts a lot of the smaller fan-sites.
- TA Designers
- This is also a nice web site. Lot's of content & downloads.
- TAMEC
- Total Annihilation Map Evaluation Center. Once the biggest resource for Total Annihilation maps, nowadays not that regularly updated. Still has a lot of resources though. And definitely the biggest resource for fan made maps!
- AI Central
- This web site hosts a lot of custom A. I.'s created by fans.
- The Swedish Yank spankers
- These folks are well known amongst the online Total Annihilation fan base. They created the 5000 units patch. They are also working on a project called Spring, a compatible remake of Total Annihilation in 3d. Keep an eye out for updates on this project!
- TA STUFF by Draconious
- I got my first idea on repacking Total Annihilation from this web site. Has some good hints for troubleshooting your installation of Total Annihilation.
